Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) is the single greatest opportunity for you to support Fighting Illini student-athletes and set them up for sustained, elite-level success, on and off the field of play.
ICON Collective's core function is to secure charitable contributions and offer meaningful NIL partnerships to Fighting Illini student-athletes for their participation in community service initiatives in the local Champaign-Urbana community and beyond. Additionally, ICON Collective infuses meaningful life and entrepreneurial skills to positively impact the lives of Illini student-athletes long after their time at the University of Illinois.
ICON is a non-profit organization and has applied to the Internal Revenue Service for 501(c)(3) status. Though ICON cannot guarantee that tax-exempt status will be granted, if approved, deductibility should be retroactive back to the Collective’s date of incorporation. All donors making contributions to ICON should consult with their tax advisors regarding the appropriate tax treatment of such contributions.
